Dr. David Gimer |
| Dr. David Gimer is a native Iowan, attended the U.S. Naval Academy, then received his dental degree from the University of Iowa in 1976. After serving four years in the U. S. Navy Dental Corps, he established a general practice in Iowa Falls in 1980. He and Kathy have two grown children, Emily and Geoff. |

| Dr. Gimer is a member of the American Dental Association, a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (Iowa Past President), and a Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. (Trustee and past Central District President). Locally, he is a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Iowa Falls Rotary Club, as well as several additional community organizations. |

| In 1985 Dr. Gimer ended the use of dental amalgam in his practice, long before it was fashionable to offer cosmetic dentistry. All of our fillings are bonded, using tooth-colored materials, and our crowns are porcelain or 18 carat gold, when indicated. |

| Dr. Gimer was trained in implant dentistry at the Misch Implant Institute in Dearborn, Michigan, in 1988-90, by Dr. Carl Misch. He has provided his patients with a full range of implant services, surgical and restorative, for over 20 years. As a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, he receives valuable and continuous updates in training and techniques through the exceptional continuing education they offer.
